Module 1 "Gender Medicine – Basics" 2011

In Berlin, the module "Gender Medicine – Basics" has successfully been implemented as an elective within the masters programmes "Master of Public Health (MPH)" and "Health and Society: Gender and Diversity Studies (MScPH)" at the Charité Berlin School of Public Health.

This module should integrate gender medicine aspects into the medical knowledge of public health-relevant diseases:
- Methodology of gender-specific research
- Epidemiology
- Cardiology
- Pulmonology
- Endocrinology
- Neurology and Neuropsychiatry
- Pharmacology
- Psychosocial Aspects and Prevention

The module comprises 5 ECTS, but also according to the requirements of your country 4 or 3 ECTS. Guest auditors are most welcome.

Module 2 "Gender Medicine - Additional" 2011

Module 2 "Gender Medicine - Additional" 2011

In Budapest, the module "Gender Medicine – Additional" will be implemented into the "Master of Science of Health Psychology" at Semmelweis University.

MD and PhD students, pharmacologists, practising physicians, public health practitioners and interested people working in public or private institutions are invited to apply.

This module integrates gender medicine aspects into the medical knowledge of public health-relevant diseases:
- Domestic Violence
- Gastroenterology
- Hematology
- Hepatology
- Immunology & Rheumatology
- Infectious Diseases, Inflammation
- Nephrology
- Oncology
- Pharmacology II

The module comprises 2 ECTS. Guest auditors are most welcome. The meeting is free to attend.
