With the help of automatised search functions, publications with potential gender aspects are extracted from the large medical database PubMed.
The abtracts are read, classified, and systemically added to a database. An intuitive search mask makes it all easy-to-use. The evaluations of the collected data showed, above all else, striking deficits in the context of health prevention research and in the study of gender difference in therapy.

Lehrbuch - „Sex and Gender Aspects in Clinical Medicine“
The eGender website is a portal containing eLearning modules in German and English for higher-level medicine students, master students in health professions, as well as colleagues in continuing medical education and researchers in gender medicine.
The eLearning platform was developed by Ute Seeland and Tauseef Nauman, in order to make use of the facts in gender differences in medicine that have been systemically gathered in basic- and clinical research. The eLearning and the communication parts of the online cooperation present two of the three pillars of the "blended learning" concept in adult education. The eGender playtform is used in conjunction with class lectures in the implementation of Masters modules and medical Training Events.
